AP Financial Services Inc. (AP) protects your information over the Internet by using a secure Web server, which allows Web browser programs (Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer) to interact with AP's Web server via an encrypted session. AP employs a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection that provides an encrypted connection between your computer(s) and AP web servers. The 128 bit encrypted connection scrambles ordinary text, or data, into cipher text to safeguard sensitive information during its journey across the Internet. The information is decrypted, or put back into a readable format, when it reaches its intended destination.

Depending on which browser you use, you will know you are in a secured area by 'https' or a lock appearing on your screen. When you visit our Web site, you may move in and out of secured areas. Any time that you are on a registration page, or viewing a credit report, you will be in a secured area.

Additionally, AP restricts access to information that you provide only to those employees who need to know such information to provide and process the information you have requested, or to investigate matters you have requested to be investigated. AP maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your information.

Privacy Policy:

When visiting our web site, our server will collect and store the following information: The name of the domain from which you access the Internet. The date and time you accessed our site. The Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site.

We use this information for security and to measure the number of users to our site.

If you provide identifying information on our subscriber application, we will use this information to process your request, and it will then be retained in our customer’s records for billing and contact purposes. If you provide us a contact email, you will receive the quarterly AP newsletter by email.

If you provide identifying information to obtain credit report(s), we will use the information to access the credit reporting agencies systems to obtain the report to be sent to you. AP Financial Services Inc. does not pass this information onto other parties.
